A comprehensive list of items to be considered for renovation/refresh were presented to the owner and Joe Lamb Jr., for review. We worked directly for the owner; however, we wanted to be sure we had addressed any items that the realty company had for the property. Budgets and schedules were established for the project and was a phased plan to update over two rental seasons. Phase one: the main living area and master floor was updated with new LVFlooring, all walls painted with a sea glass color palette and baths on the main level updated. New kitchen counters, lighting, window treatments and furnishings. White Silo provided full service design for the cottage refresh as well as the project management to oversee the execution of the work on time and on budget. The goals were achieved, new images added to update the site increasing online booking interest. After the the first season updates, 2014, the home’s rental had increased significantly, and the owner and rental company were very pleased with the updates of this home. The updates for architectural product are timeless and selections for materials for a lower maintenance solution. Phase two was completed prior to the 2015 season, completing the balance of the flooring in the home, updating all baths, lighting, door hardware, and providing new linens, accessories, some repurposed and new furniture.
